Gov. John Hickenlooper ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff statewide on all public buildings on Wednesday, Jan. 1, in honor of slain Arapahoe High School student Claire Davis. Flags should be lowered from sunrise to sunset.
Claire Davis died as a result of her injuries on Saturday, December 21 received when she was shot by a classmate, who later committed suicide, at Arapahoe High School on Friday, December 13, 2013.
A public memorial service for Davis will be held at the National Western Stock Show and Complex at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1.
