National prescription drug take back event

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind the public that 
on April 27th, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the National Prescription Drug 
Take Back Event will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and
 theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and
 unwanted prescription drugs. This event is intended to addresses a vital public 
safety and public health issue and is therefore being offered as a free and 
anonymous service.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the Drug Enforcement 
Administration, Eaton PD, Walgreens, Heritage Market and the Towns of Mead, 
Severance and Garden City will be offering collection points throughout the county. 
Residents are encouraged to bring prescription medications to one of the drop 
off locations listed below:
Garden City Town Hall: 621 27th Street Road, Garden City
Mead Town Hall: 441 3rd Street, Mead
Old Severance Town Hall: 336 1st Street, Severance
Heritage Market: 180 S Elm Ave, Eaton
Walgreens: 1641 23rd Ave, Greeley
Walgreens: 2600 11th Ave, Greeley
Walgreens: 1480 Main Street, Windsor
