In a blog post, KCOL Mornings host Al Malmberg wrote about 9-year old Tyler Weaver. The boy won the "Dig into Reading" contest at the Hudson Falls Public Library for the fifth year in a row.
Everybody is happy for little Tyler, except for the library's Director, Marie Gandron. She wants to disqualify him so he can't compete any more. She says other kids quit because they can't keep up with him.
What Do You Think?
What kind of message is the library director sending? Is Tyler being punished for succeeding? YOU Let us know what YOU thought by voting in the 600kcol.com Poll of the Week, and you felt that other kids should aspire to beat the boy's record, NOT quit.
